Yeojin Bae

Yeojin Bae's star is rising. Besides being featured in the latest Elle, AU Vogue, and Shop Til You Drop, designer Yeojin Bae received the prestigious L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Designer Award. Congratulations Yeojin!

As sweet as pie, this 31-year-old is exceptionally talented. Bae's winter pieces are described by AU Vogue as "impeccably tailored in utterly feminine shapes." She scours markets in far-flung destinations such as Budapest and Marrakech to find just the right beads, trims, and fabrics for her dreamy feminine frocks. After graduating from Whitehouse Institute of Design in Sydney, she interned for Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, and Robert Danes in New York before returning to Australia to become Senior Designer with Charlie Brown and, later, Head Designer for Saba womenswear.

While filming in Australia, Kate Hudson fell in love with Bae's line, and has since snapped up several styles for her personal wardrobe. French songbird Emilie Simon loves the line too, in particular the Katie dress which is featured in Lucky, and is available here at blaec.com.

Yeojin Bae is only available in the US at Barneys and at blaec.
