blaec is excited to introduce Lorun's debut collection, from designer Lauren Wallack--an urban line that blends understated cool with a touch of romantic rebel. Lorun was named "Best New Designer" in Lucky's September issue, and is featured on DailyCandy.com as one of the "sweetest things" of 2007.

A California native, Wallack traversed the globe from Cali to NYC to London, learning the ropes from some of the industry's best including Zac Posen and The Wrights.

Back on the west coast, Lauren began working on her own label that she calls an extension of her personality: shy charm.

Lorun's pallet is dark yet dazzling with shades of chocolate, slate, and rich navy. We especially love the mix of large bold zippers on short silk dresses.
