Bruno Grizzo is based in New York City and has worked with Lanvin, Frank
Tignino, and Marc Jacobs.
Bruno Grizzo presented his debut collection in fall 2006--a series of eight
dresses, each based on a staple of a woman's wardrobe: lingerie, T-shirt,
shirt, sweater, denim jacket, suit, coat, and evening dress. He made history
at the GenArt and Motorola Styles 2006 Fashion Awards as the first designer
to win two Motorola Design Vision Awards for women's eveningwear and RTW.
Shape is the main focus of Bruno Grizzo designs; his details are subtle
and his silhouettes are simple yet striking. His first two seasons showcased
dressmaking, and his fall '07 collection introduces separates with new colors
and textures.
This collection focuses on staples, from stark dolman-sleeve shirt dresses
to structured denim jackets. Many of Bruno Grizzo's pieces can be worn in
several ways--as a dress, a tunic, and even a light coat.
blaec is very excited to offer Bruno Grizzo's limited-distribution collection.
